Important notice regarding state budget impact on DVC programs and services to students
Dear DVC Student:
As you may already be aware, California is in the midst of a devastating financial crisis. As a result, community college programs and services across the state are facing the possibility of unprecedented decreases in funding. Unfortunately for students, these cuts will negatively impact the level of services that we have been fortunate enough to provide in the past. To prepare for a reduction in funding, difficult changes have been made to the student services programs and services for the 2009-2010 academic year.
At this time, the most noticeable change to most students will be shortened hours to most student services on campus Monday and Thursday evenings. At the current time, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday services will remain as they have been in past semesters. If schedules change we will do our best to notify you promptly.
Please check with the specific student service area for more specific details on any additional changes or reduction to services.
