Teach Geog 160 Introduction to Remote Sensing and Geog 162 Maps & Cartography for DVC's GIS/GPS Certificate Program. Courses use ERDAS Imagine 9.2 image-processing software and ESRI ArcGIS 9.3 GIS software. Weekly lectures are PodCasts. Labs are on DVC campus in ATC112 (30-workstation lab)

Owner of a remote sensing & GIS company (Ellis GeoSpatial) that provides custom geospatial imaging, mapping, and database solutions to industry and agencies. Specializing in environmental baselines, geologic interpretations, hyperspectral/multispectral image processing & mapping, and building new GIS databases.
